Enlisting employers

An active partnership of leading employers in a specific industry, which invests in education and vocational training of new and existing employees, through fixed organizational infrastructure, which supports training and promotion of employees alongside strengthening the image of the profession.

The value for the employer: providing a response to the need for new employees, and training and development of existing ones.

The value for an employee: education and vocational training towards meaningful employment, in professions with a career advancement and job security.

Flywheel - Employers partnerships for education and vocational training

In 2019, 2 partnerships were established within the construction and metalworking industries.

In the next three years, 6 employer partnerships will be established in various industries, with 20–30 employers in each partnership. We expect a total leadership involvement of 120–180 employers. These partnerships aim to improve available training and expand the industries' workforce. The initiative is supported by the Smidt Foundation and Glazer Philanthropies and powered by the nonprofit Zionism 2000.

Momentum

Beyachad foundation initiated the establishment of "Momentum" – a partnership of 14 employers and Beyachad that seeks to make automotive professions a sought-after track in higher education and vocational training. The aim is to enable young men and women in Israel to attain self-fulfillment and rewarding employment with career advancement possibilities and good pay. Momentum also seeks to boost the automotive industry and Israeli economy, while teaming up with organizations in the public, business and social sectors. The ​NGO is Momentum.
