Yoel Carasso, Chairman

Carasso Motors was founded in 1933 by Moshe Carasso, who came to pre-State Israel from Salonika, Greece. Initially an importer of Renault vehicles, the company now imports vehicles to Israel from a number of automobile manufacturers, including Renault, Nissan, Infiniti, Dacia and others. The company has also branched out into the real estate, leasing, insurance and financing industries.

Yoel Carasso has served as chairman of Carasso Motors since 2007, while also serving as chairman of Carasso Real Estate. Carasso Motors and Carasso Real Estate implement corporate social responsibility in their business practices, part of which involves investing in education as a means to reduce social disparities in Israel.

The training Yoel received reflected his structured career path - from mechanic, to manager of the main spare parts warehouse, to manager of the main automotive service center, moving up the corporate ladder until becoming chairman of Carasso Motors.

n 2015, Yoel established the Beyachad Foundation as well as Momentum, which is a partnership of employers engaged in the Foundation's core activities, serving as chairman of both organizations. In addition, he sits on the boards of other organizations, among them the Carasso Science Park in Beer-Sheva, Israel Technion Society, and Israeli Friends of Tel Aviv University.

Yoel has a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics and a Master's in Mathematics, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also a graduate of the Kellogg-Recanati International Executive MBA Program at Tel Aviv University.

Yoel is married to Stella and they have three children – Dafna, Michal and Oded – as well as four granddaughters.

Daphna Carasso-Romano

Daphna Carasso-Romano is a real estate developer and tech investor. She has served as a member of the board of directors of Carasso Real Estate since 2014, as well as those of various subsidiaries of Carasso Motors Ltd (TLV:CRSO). Together with her siblings she developed a unique residential project in the heart of Tel Aviv.

Daphna gained management experience in leading strategic processes as part of her work as a banking analyst at the Dash-Apex investment house – where she provided consulting services for capital raise, mergers and acquisitions for clients in various fields. Before this, she held finance and operations’ management positions at Idioma Solutions, a software company that was bought out by the German company WYWY, and managed the economic news desk at the Ha’aretz daily.

As part of the fourth generation of the Carasso family, she initiated and has been an active leader in a process for training and integrating the next generation into the family business for over a decade.

As a member of the management of the Beyachad Foundation, Daphna is a partner in setting the strategic goals of the foundation and leading its impact activity. Daphna holds a BA in history, philosophy and gender studies from Tel Aviv University and a MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati International Executive MBA program. She is also a graduate of the Entrepreneurship in Real Estate program at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya and Leading the Family Business program from the IMD Business School in Switzerland.

Daphna is married to Gal and is the mother of Eliana and Avshalom.

Atar Razy-Oren, CEO

Atar Razy-Oren has been initiating and managing social investments for about 20 years. Her specialty is consulting for and managing family philanthropy that combines donations, public activity and corporate social responsibility in family-owned businesses with the establishment of private family foundations.

Atar has managed the Beyachad Foundation since its founding in 2015. Prior to that, she filled various executive positions in the field of philanthropy, including program director at the Gandyr Foundation, director of the Philanthropy Center at Sheatufim, and director of the Tirat Carmel Community Foundation.

She acquired previous experience in the public and corporate sectors when working at the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and BTL Momentum, which is part of the McCann Erickson Group.

Atar sits on the executive board of OutBox, a nonprofit organization that seeks to promote the field of design in Israel. She is also active in education in the Emek Hefer Regional Council where she resides. Atar has an M.A. in Public Policy and Nonprofit Management and a B.A. in Sociology and Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is also a graduate of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, the Gvanim program for developing pluralistic Jewish leadership, and the Salzburg Global Seminar that fosters women's leadership worldwide.

Atar is married to Gil and they have three children – Ziv, Neta and Roni – and live in Kfar Vitkin.

Keren Krothammer, Programs Manager

Keren joined Beyachad in 2020. In her previous position, which she held for two years, she helped shape national policies and was in charge of foreign relations at the Youth Authority in the Ministry of Social Equality.

Before that, Keren filled various positions at the Prime Minister's Office, including spending one year at the Israeli Mission in Delhi, India.

She also managed NGO relations at LATET, an Israeli humanitarian aid organization, and took part in an innovative academic study on urban renewal in Israel. Keren has a bachelor's degree in behavioral science with a specialization in human resources and a master's degree in public policy from Tel Aviv University.
